Ah Hanwoori, just the name brings back memories of the many birthdays that were celebrated there back in high school. They have giant private rooms that are perfect for a bunch of noisy teenagers. But now that I am clearly getting old without as many social obligations to fulfill, I haven’t been back in years. This recent visit was for a family dinner.
My family always has to order the Bibimbap whenever we have Korean food. There’s a large variety of toppings and it’s great for those who cannot eat spicy foods.
Soontofu Jjigae. You get to crack your own egg in!
We also ordered the Gooksu Jeongol but the food was portioned into bowls before I could get a picture of the whole pot. For the hefty price, the hot pot was disappointing since it was just sliced beef, some veggies, and noodles. Overall, it was a bit of a lackluster meal.
