Toronto | Momofuku Noodle Bar

After doing some touristy activities like going up the CN Tower and admiring the sea creatures at the Ripley’s Aquarium, it was already lunchtime and we needed to stop for some food. Perfect time to visit Momofuku Noodle Bar because I’ve wanted to make a visit for many years.

The Pork Buns were much drier than I had expected. The bun was a bit dense and perhaps there could have been more hoisin sauce. While the pork belly was nicely executed – fatty and tender, I felt as though the different components did not really come together into one mind-blowing dish.

Momofuku Ramen was an expensive bowl of ramen so I had high expectations! It was indeed very rich in flavour but definitely on the saltier side. Once again, the pork belly was satisfyingly tender and the noodles were nice and chewy.

I’m happy that I finally made a visit to Momofuku Noodle Bar. While it wasn’t the most spectacular meal ever like I had anticipated, it was still an enjoyable experience.
