Some time back, I went on a trip to Los Angeles and San Francisco with family. While I would have loved to explore more and eat at so much more food destinations, it was difficult to do so when family members weren’t as experimental with food.
The small size steam dumpling with pork and vegetables featured an extremely thin wrapper and was stuffed with the pork and vegetable filling. I found the dumpling to be well-seasoned but a bit mushier in texture than I had expected.
The kimchi dumplings with beef soup was actually really spicy!
I was surprised to see that the king size steam dumpling with pork and vegetables were actually giant fluffy buns. These king sized dumplings were definitely more filling than the small sized ones.
Chungsil Hongsil is very affordable as all the items that we ordered were under $10 each. Service was also friendly. Although not exceptionally memorable, it was still a solid meal with plenty of delicious dumplings.
